Grateful For... This Blink Of An Eye

Tomorrow morning, Magoo will wake up a three year old kid.
No longer technically a baby or a toddler.
But always my baby.

Tomorrow morning Hubby and I will wake up and wonder how we managed to blink 36 precious months away.
36 precious months filled with the lowest lows and the highest highs in my simple life.
36 months of the greatest education money can't buy.
36 months of insight into just how much love the heart can hold and just how far I'm willing to go.

So, tonight I am beyond grateful for the privilege to be this gorgeous kid's Mummy and for every little thing that comes with that honour.
Grateful for three beautiful 'blink of an eye' years that can reduce this :
Thailand  - Jan 2008.
After 3 positive pregnancy tests in two days.
Mocktails R Us.
 to this:
 Couch - Sep 2011 @ 8.30pm
After 3 years of Magoo.

Happily haggard,
Shar :-)

You're not haggard Shar, trust me, you look awesome... though I do know the haggard feeling, I describe myself as that often :o/
And well done for 3 years (or 36months!) of mamahood. It's no mean feat and you deserve to celebrate it. Which I'm sure you will with that fab fire engine party. Happy Birthday to Magoo, hope he has the time of his little life at his party. Look forward to the run down on it, once you come up for air :o) xo

Happy birthday to your little man, no doubt his party will be amazing!

I love the photos of before and after, even in your 'haggard' state (you look mighty fine there young lady) you look blissfully happy. Lovely. :)

I look forward to the post-party write up. xo

Happy birthday Magoo!

Oh Shar, you are reading my mind! Even though Bubble is only 16months, I have never had such a roller coaster ride in my life. She is my sun and I adore her.

...But I do have a little twinge for the days of care-free hols and the body beautiful! lol!

Wouldn't exchange them for the world though :o)
