Don't Blink!!

Um, excuse me?

Is it possible to blink and have ten years go by?
When exactly did my beautiful baby boy become a teenager?

The posture, the stance.
Too. Cool. For. School. - except he hasn't even started school for goodness' sake!!

Thankfully, he did manage to bring himself down a peg or two to dance, sing and have a great time.

But, then there was this...

Hellooooo, lovebirds!!!!
Whole concert happening behind you!!

To top it off, they fought the whole car ride home.

They may as well be married already.
(Thank God, we love her parents!!)

Shar :-)

Oh Shar, that is just beautiful. What a great series of snaps to capture, priceless memories right there.
And it is incredible how quickly they seem to grow up and so naturally adopt the teenage mannerisms.
Hold me, I'm not ready to let go... at least for another 20 years or so, haha!

You can see why parents love arranged marriages, we like the parents too!! He has great taste, she looks adorable & her outfit is gorgeous. What a lady killer.
My son has always been a hit with the ladies, but his heart was claimed at 2.5 year old preschool, 6 years on, she still insists they are marrying, he doesn't mind, bless him, raised with 3 sisters, used to being told what to do!!
They are super sweet, look at them, gorgeous, love Posie

Isn't it amazing how children mimic the adult behaviour around them, right down to posture :-)
My daughter aged 30 years today when she said "mummy it's park time". No, I replied, not park time now. "Now Mummy, I am going to count and then it IS park time. 1 2 3 Park time!".
I guess if that trick works for me it just be able to work for her too :-)

Oh Shar.... You always capture beautiful moments with your camera, although not sure whether to cry (my little girl looks so grown up... And so willingly left us for her date) or laugh (these pics are so damn cute !) she's made such a beautiful friend in your little man - a friendship we both treasure!!!!

PS this may not seem so cute in 10 plus yrs when they're sneaking out their windows & running down that bike path!! Lol

Oh Shar, this is divine...that hand-holding is just so cute. But I really can't get over the teenage stance?! How do they learn that so quickly?! And the hands in the pockets!? Time passes just way too quickly when you have littlies :(
