Magoo has played right into the hands of the commercial powers that be.
He has twigged that Christmas is a coming - and he is starting to get a tad excited.
So naturally, his thoughts are turning to dear old Mr Claus.
Just this evening he told me
"I think I've had a lucky day, Mum.
Because when I was naughty before, I'm pretty sure Santa was having a cup of tea."
And so young Magoo has opened the season in fine form.
The age old season of Santa-driven discipline.
It's now open slather on the not so subtle hints/threats!
Do you remind your little ones that Santa Claus is coming to town?
That he's making a list and checking it twice?
Hey Santa, put down your cuppa and check me out. Butter wouldn't melt! |

That's the funniest thing I've heard! That's one smart little boy you have on your hands :)

You have one very clever little boy there!! Chatterbox said to me the other day "Santa doesn't exist".. I nearly died. We talked him round... I don't want him to not believe, especially when there might be a bit of leverage power in there!
Haha! brilliant x
That's one clever kid!
We've never told our kids that Santa is real. They don't get a present from Santa at home (sometimes do at work functions) though they are now 8 and 11 so I suspect the end would be night in any case!
RATS *nigh*
Hilarious!!! He is definitely one switched on little boy!
Haha! Too clever! Very cute though! xx
Oh we totally go for as much mileage out of the festive season as we can around here. Always said I'd never bribe my children in any way... Hah! Fool was I.
Love the pic of your kidlets hanging out together, just look at Missi checking out her big bro xo
The Santa having his cup of tea commented cracked me up! Santa is a big help with encouraging good behaviour around these parts too. I constantly find myself reminding my big girl that he's watching :)
