Running - Let's talk

Hi there,
Hope you are well.

So this is a little awkward.
It's been a while.
A long while.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been thinking about you in the past few months even though we haven't spent any time together.

It's not that I haven't wanted to, but it just hasn't been the right time.
Even though I've missed you, I've needed to put my family first this year and play it safe.

I hope you are still as terrific as when we last hung out and that all the cold, wet weather lately hasn't got you down.

I see you've been hanging out with a couple of my friends recently too.
Maybe when you and I have had a decent catch up ourselves, we could all venture out together one weekend?

I must warn you.
It'll be different.
I'll be different.
I don't look like I used to and I sure as heck won't feel like I used to.

But if you're willing to give me another chance, I look forward to getting together again before the end of the year.

Shar xxx

Oh you poor duck - I know how you feel! I couldn't run at all when I was pregnant. So sick at first that I'd throw up when I wanted water, then the kid sat so low I walked like a duck from 5 months on.

Give yourself a break and then get into it. Going for runs with the dog in the morning while the baby and hubby are still asleep are my new 'me time'.

Can't wait to meet your baby!

Haha! It does feel a bit like that when you're pregnant doesn't it?? I missed running so much. I have been very slack of late, but fully intend to start upping the stakes with it as Summer approaches. I've got some serious love handles happening and it's not a good look!
Not long now Shar, you'll be back in fine form before you know it xo

Oh my goodness! I can totally relate. At 34 weeks it takes me over 50 minutes to jog/walk my 5k. Can't wait to get back to some sort of fitness routine that doesn't include reminding myself not to waddle!
