I have rediscovered my love of boxing (for fitness) in the last few weeks...
and I'm smitten again.
I've been a boxercise fan for a long time.
When I met Hubby, he was my boxing instructor at the gym.
Corny as.
You'd be surprised how two minutes in the ring with someone can really change your entire life!
If you've ever boxed you would know that two minutes in the ring can feel like a lifetime - so I figure you may as well marry whoever you're stuck there with!
When Magoo was a wee baby, both my wrists had themselves we-can't-hold-him-any-longer meltdowns and packed it in. Fetching casts and cortisone replaced my boxing gloves and I've been hesitant to get back into them until recently.
Boxing is the most intense, efficient and productive workout I've ever
It's also an excellent outlet for channeling frustration.
Apparently, it can do wonders for your love life too.
Just ask my lucky Hubby!!! Ha ha!

I love these shots. I am scared of you in the first shot and I'd like to go out for a wine with you in the second!
That is such a great story about you and hubby meeting in the ring! Yes, boxing is fantastic for working out and working up a sweat. I haven't done it in years, but really should get back to it, as it might tighten up those flabby tummy muscles :o/
You could never look mean Shar, though I do love both your 'mean' and happy shots here xo
Great photos - Have to agree with Lee on both counts.
Have never tried boxing - if it produces smiles like photo #2, then I'm willing to give it a go.
I met my husband over 'Excel spreadsheets' - much less glamourous and cute than meeting in the ring...although I guess he can say spreadsheets have been good for his love life ;)
Love photos. I too have just gotten back into a little bit of boxing (as exercise) and it is awesome. I have never been inside the boxing ring, I might have to add that to my bucket list!
Love those photos!
PS - I've been meaning to come by and say you've won one of those Garnier skin cream packs from my blog! Can you please email me your postal address so I can have it sent? Thanks! (blandford.megan@gmail.com)
I love that you met your husband boxing! Haha! That's fantastic! And happy birthday for yesterday, too!
I love these photos! You look so fit!! I've never tried boxing, apart from on the Wii...guess that doesn't really count huh? lol
I'm joining in the 52 week challenge, too. :)
Phwoar! Isn't there anything you can't do, Shar?!
Marathons and boxing! You're an inspiration for me to exercise wayyyyy more!
Great shot! Sounds like great exercise. I tried a wii fit boxing game (which is nothing like the real thing) but still my brother and hubby were laughing at how exhausted i was when i finished! They soon found out its not as easy as it looks :) Love that 2nd photo!
