If the concept of taking a 'staycation' is perfectly acceptable,
then so too is camping on your own doorstep - very literally.
As this mean mummy refuses to go camping with anyone who has not had themselves at least one birthday
(yes, I'm looking at you Missi!!)
we offered Magoo (and our neighbours) a compromised, home based version this weekend.
The kids certainly weren't complaining.
(Or asking 'are we there yet?'!)
And neither was I when, after dinner and games,
Missi and I retired to our very civilised conditions indoors!

How was your weekend?
Did you water down any experiences and get away with it??

What a great idea! How fun! I will have to do this with my 4 year old.
Our weekend was hot hot hot, we didn't leave the cool house much, oh except when the ice cream man came.
That's the best way to do it. Oh and I refuse to camp with anyone under 5;)x
We camped in the back yard last year, it was a real hoot, plus the pantry and fridge where right there! bonus!
Haha, oh good on you Shar! I am resisting any urges to go camping too, I like the indoor civilisation also.
Love the pics though, looks like a hoot! And those juicy little thighs in the pink onesie, oh my, they are too too cute xo
