52 Week Project : Wk 16

The anniversary edition.

Here I am in front of a wedding photo from five years ago.
Mine, by the way.
I love the pic because it wasn't posed, but captured.
It also happens to feature my favourite man in the entire world.

Let's play spot the difference, shall we?
How many differences can you perceive between newlywed Shar and five-years-in Shar?

Did you see...

Increased wrinkles?
- 1 point. NOT 1 point per wrinkle, so stop counting.

Less naivety?
- 1 point.

Coupla married bliss kilos?
 - 1 point per kilo.

Less patience, yet increased tolerance levels?
- 0 points as I figure they balance each other out.

Increased respect and adoration for Hubby?
- 6 points - one for every year we've weathered and one for good luck.

Motherhood?
- 3 points - one for every year.

Can't believe I didn't (need to) wear a bra to my own wedding?
- 2 points. One in loving memory of each perky... you know.
Actually, 4 points. Hubby would probably pay tribute with 2 points also.

Far less 'sparkly' teeth and jewellery?
- 2 points. One for the dentist and one for the jeweller.

One completed marathon?
- 43 points. One per kilometre and one for the brag mention.

Massive scar where the sun don't shine?
- minus all points. Seriously, where is your respect?

How did you score?

I think you look exactly the same. And that is, fresh and glowing, and wrinkle free, and most of all happy!!!

Keep up the good work x

I cannot see one single wrinkle, you look as gorgeous as then, but with the added inner glow of being married to the love of your life and having a child with him.
I will be putting the linky up tomorrow for the 52 week project hun xx

I agree. Equally beautiful in each version of you. I look nothing like my wedding photo (blonde foils everywhere and now completely brunette), but this is a good idea for a meme. We could do like those photos where they get people to pose exactly like they did in a childhood photo, but with wedding pictures.

This was a great shot.

It is still awing that you ran a marathon. It is so far. You so deserve all those points!

Captured photos are always the best. And it's even better when they're with favourite people. This photo and the framed one are just gorgeous.

You look the same to me in each picture.. you look gorgeous by the way!! Isn't it funny we have our own scoreboard to things that have and haven't gone our way!! You are more beautiful in the recent one as you have hard the wisdom of marriage and children.. xx

What a beautiful wedding pic! Love the moment its captured, cause staged photos really aren't my thing.

And you look great now; I honestly didn't notice any differences (including inappropriate scars), until you pointed them out.

Wow! I particularly love the less patience, more tolerance. That is spot on.
There is still so much that is the same, the blonde hair, the way you are looking at your hub, your smile, beautiful skin. I love this whole idea. I might need to get married just so I can do this...
And, how did you do this? I am trying to learn about these photo apps and I am way behind the times.
Have a great week Shar. x
