Ok.
I've held my cyber tongue for long enough.
Time to tackle the big issue that we've all been sweeping under the carpet, or lawn - so to speak.
What the heck is with blower vacs?
Or moreso the operators of blower vacs?
The concept of sucking up debris, waste and clippings in the garden - I get that.
I'm pretty sure that equates to outdoor vacuuming.
The concept of blowing your debris, waste and clippings onto someone else's property - what the?
I'm pretty sure that equates to downright rude.
Where do these people think their crap is going?
Correct me if I'm wrong.
It is not going to be miraculously re-absorbed into the atmosphere, is it?
To me, the notion of mowing the lawn, trimming the edges, pruning etc. and then simply blowing the remnants of that down the blinkin' street or over your garden and into someone else's is ridiculous.
It's like me sweeping my floors, gathering it up, walking next door and tipping the dirt onto my neighbour's kitchen floor.
(And we all know how much I genuinely love my neighbours, so that's not going to happen.)
Do you blow your crap off into the big, wide world?
Whyyyyy?
Shar :-)
The disclaimer :
We own a blower vac thingamajiggy. Or Hubby does, anyway. I refuse to have anything to do with it.
Hubby does NOT use said blower vac to spray our garden into tomorrow (or next door).
