Mind you, after having the 3 pixies in 3.5 years, my OB suggested he should have just put a zip in first time around! I am a HUGE fan of the c-section!
For our Little Miss it was an emergency, so I think the recovery was slightly longer as I'd also gone through full on 14 hours of labour.
But this time? Calm, peaceful and dare I say it - enjoyable?! Who knew surgery could be such a nice experience.
Well done for getting back to it - it feels great doesn't it!
And my best part of it - my bits are still intact and undamaged! :)
xxAmeliaMWhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01556432714220385619noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1187678194891123194.post-52953713451319416722012-10-16T09:59:41.735+08:002012-10-16T09:59:41.735+08:00Good news. So pleased for you, well done. I did tell you there was nothing to worry about...though I completely understand your concerns as I cried for 2 days when I found out I'd need a Caesar first time around with a breech Angus :( But second time round, it was a no brainer. And yes, I was back out on the running track after 5 weeks. Feels good doesn't it!? xoxoAll For Lovehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13151973819133926868noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1187678194891123194.post-70887436076167392322012-10-16T06:28:01.811+08:002012-10-16T06:28:01.811+08:00I'm going through the exact opposite at the mo...I'm going through the exact opposite at the moment Shar!

I had an elective c-section first time around, and whilst my recovery went just as well as yours I really want to try for a vbac this time. I'm probably insane, but I feel like this will be my last chance to experience it all. I was booked in for a c-section and last week I changed my mind and cancelled it. Now I have my fingers crossed that I can make it through the labour and don't end up having an emergency one :)Tamsynhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14800218969854372400noreply@blogger.com
